Picked this up today a couple of weeks earlier than I thought. I love the dial colour, it looks so clean on your wrist. I love it. Only one simple photo. Bought a good camera but need to learn how to use it. So iPhone it is for now.
Great Special Edition AT...Really like the Grey dial and (hidden in photo) the blue rings around the pushers.
Now this is where a nice grey rubber strap would be a alternative option if IWC would give us AT owners some variety. Come on IWC...we are hungry for some color !
Excellent pick-up..enjoy above and below sea level.
Thanks Andy, I will definitely enjoy this when we head back to Rarotonga on holiday. And pretty much every time I wear it.
I bought a really good quality camera today. Can't wait to learn how to use it. I will be posting a lot of pictures once I get it sorted. Will be great to use it for our trip to Schaffhausen in September.
When you master the camera, yes....more photo's of that Cousteau. don't forget a shot of those pushers with the blue rings...nice touch IWC !
Forgive me, but since I'm replying to your post again, some more rubber talk. I tried this model on about 6 months ago on a "blue" rubber strap. With those dark blue sub-dials and pusher treatments, the blue strap looked awesome. Actually liked it better than the OEM black ( not to say the black is bad, it looks right ).
So try a "quick change" when you next visit IWC and let us know what you think. Don't forget to bring enough money to cover one. I think you are gonna not want to take it off.
I bought a Canon 60D with a couple of lenses. Should be finally able get some quality pics of my IWC's.
Will definitely check out the blue rubber strap, I like it in the pics I have seen. The quick release straps are a great design.
I have another IWC coming my way shortly. Paid the money today. Will post a pic that gives a hint of what it is in the next couple of days. Exciting times.
That looks like a perfect selection for your locale...lotsa beautiful ocean to use this AT as it was intended! I look forward to some more photos! Congratulations, Jarrod!!!
I am a lucky owner of the same model. I think it is fantastic. Congratulations on what I think is one of the best thought out watches there is.
Love the blend of brushed and polished steel. Love the blue being chosen for two of the subdials, the triangle at 12, the pusher sleeves and even in the centre of the main hands spindle.
I purchased he extra long black strap and although the watch is heavy, it is comfortable to wear.
Great looking watch! I second the request for IWC to add more quick-change straps in multiple colors - how about a white one? Or, how about some after-market guru creates some; I believe there is a market for these. Thanks.
