Nicely done Peter. The lighting, DOF, and WB are perfect as is the 5001.
Peter, you chose wisely for your first shot. The 5001 is always welcome on these pages. Look forward to seeing more.

Kevin

That's a great photo...and the subject is always a good one!
Nice shot. No shadows and the focus is on the watch.
Great quality photo. Looking forward to more.
Beautiful shot of a great watch.
Another shot with some reflection and focus on IWC name and midpart
Looks great. Very nice details.
Great pictures. Thanks for sharing
"Unfortunately the watch is not new" maybe so but it is a special 5001 which is limited. Great photos by the way with the Fuji X Pro.
Peter, something is amiss with Flickr and my computer. No picture.
Bill, sorry you're having problems. Just sent you an email to see what might be wrong. It might be on my end.
Peter
In that case I have the same problem as Bill, I cannot see the second picture either.

very nice, are those blue tick marks at 5, 6, 8 and 9 hours? which IW5001-?? version is this as I do not recall combined blue+gold in the more recent versions.
In any case, amazing detail.

mmmm. weird. I copied/pasted bb-code into the editor. Are you ale to see the pics in the 322705 post? If you can't see those either, I will check if using bb-code has certain limitations.

Thanks Ray!
No there is no blue, It's reflection. Just checked in Lightroom and it looks also blue-ish there. I could/should have eliminated it by reducing blue but I was lazy and did not do any post-processing except for my standard raw-processing preset.
It would have been nice though to have the 6 mark in blue!

Peter,
The photo in the first posting works, but other photos are not in the links copied. Best to check the flicker account.

Does this one work? If not, I'll switch to photobucket

Yes. One of these days,I need to invest some dollars in a new camera and do some setup to join this IWC professional-quality photo group!!!

Glad it worked!
That's the group I'd like to join too (I usually am a bit lazy with watch photos). Search for Ming Thein and view some of his photos. Amazing. And there are many more
