In the following picture you can recognize a poor man on the edge of the precipice who's going to receive the final push toward this man's dream/nightmare, misteriously fluttering in the stormy sky ahead of him.

We don't know who's finger is that one's pushing the poor man, we just know the originals of his name: A.G.

We don't know the poor man's identity either, we can only argue he's probably the author of the painting... LOL

Great collection Antonio, it would be great if you would like to spen some time narrating the story of these wonderful pieces of yours :)

    Great collection of Inges -

Roberto, I am fascinated by your image here - it's expressive and thought-provoking. Very cool. What is it from? Is it you? Did you make it? I am intrigued. Tell us more?

You're too generous, thank you. I'd say the overall idea is mine, I thought of a man standing on a precipice and started looking for an image would fit my need. The idea of the Inge might have come from a recess of my mind thinking of Magritte, although it came quite spontaneously. I thought of Boecklin for the environment suggestions (clouds and stone).

The rest is done by photoshop (terribly used) and some little sense of humor, I hope :)

Anyway, these are the pictures I used, except for the one depicting the man I can't find googling anymore. I wish I could at least mention the owers of these images but I didn't find any caption about it.

Indeed a great Ing. collection. Only these very rare models missing, the design of the 3303 is very similar to the fifth generation :-)

You give me too much credit, as usual. I suspect the finger may belong to G.T. - the Great Satan - the source of all temptation. I feel more like the man at the edge of a precipice and about to step forward into horological bliss, financial ruin, or both. :))

Without trying to be pretentious, I note that there are actually many more Ingenieur models missing from my collection. This is by design, since my criteria excludes watches with quartz movements, pocket watches, and all those watches I either do not consider significant, or do not like. The last two reasons help me rationalize the decision not to buy watches I can't afford.:)
I've never broken the quartz movement rule, but have broken the PW rule a couple of times, and would break it again for the Ref 5212, if I find one reasonably priced. BTW, congratulations on your beautiful Ref 5212s.

    Hi Nelson,
I am still searching for a Ref 866A or Ref 9120A with cal 854 or cal 854B (no date). I have never seen one, but I know there is one out there with my name on it. Then my Ingenieur family, as I see it, will be complete. :)
