I originally lusted after the platinum version of the Inge Chrono. Back in 2009 in Schaffhausen I tried one on my wrist and was smitten. The white dial was perfect. But a little expensive. I toyed with the idea of getting the black dial steel version but I could not get the vision of the bright white dial out of my head. So I waited and when I saw the DFB in January 2010 it was a no brainer.
    What do you think?

Sometimes it's good to wait ...

... and sometimes you have to be fast.

You did everything at the right time.
Great watch! Enjoy the watch and the matches,

I prefer the DFB, more white, less black.

And the white date window matches the dial better and seems more harmonious than on the plat version. But I'll bet the plat version weighs a ton and a half!.

the watch of the coming world champion LOL :-))and

that makes it even more precious.

I like that watch, esp. the white dial and the colors of the hands.

    Congrats, great choice!

and best wishes, wear it always in good health

So, I guess if I want to simulate....

It is big. But I like big chunks of

metal on my wrist. Ingenieur big cases are really dramatic and robust and this is no exception. I'd love to try a bracelet which adds almost another 100 grams weight.

Yeah but it looks really good with the strap...

I would be worried that a bracelet might make it look too ordinary. Either way, superb looking watch.

    It's really nice...a good choice...

I must say that I really liked the Platinum BIC too. While the DBF is no substitute, the dial on the DBF is really well-executed. Congrats - your wait turned out to be a real coup!!

Since I put the stainless bracelet on my Steel, 'black dial' BIC - I have been wearing it 5 days a week. I quickly learned the BIC on the strap really did nothing for me - it is a re-birth now with the bracelet - and the black dial seems very well-balanced -

I would love to see your DBF on a bracelet - I bet you will never put a strap on it again!!

You may be right but the difference is that....

the bracelet actually enhances the black dial . From your pictures you posted a few months ago the dial was actually more prominent after substituting the bracelet.
In a way the strap on the DFB does the same because the black is a perfect offset to the white dial.. Plus the red edge is kind of cool and unique. But at some point I will have to try it.
