Forum : answers?

Anyone who has found a way to get a notification (e-mail or RSS) when you get a reply to your post on the forum?
This forum is great, but could need some modernization..

I am guilty too, still I am the first to react to Tonny's announcement. Yes, more to follow, but I wonder what changes are waiting for us. I am quite happy with the forum as it is, I am not aware of the fact that other forum members have wishes for it, except the one mentioned by Johson. Quite a reasonable wish. The other watch forum I visit frequently is TimeZone, which as a forum I like a lot, except for two lack of features: you cannot correct mistakes, and you cannot change your name or alias. Both omissions are in my opinion quite a nuisance.

Is the change to this forum user driven, or has IWC other ideas about a good functioning forum? Are there technical issues, that in the end were the driving force behind the one but latest forum? That first forum format I liked best, by the way. I wonder whether we as a forum community have some valuable input for the new forum. I am looking forward to any new developments!

Looking forward to seeing what the changes may be. I think it is long overdue for an update.
