Hello everyone, I'm carol . As a 38-year-old interior architect, I've
developed a great love for watches over the years. It all started with the
Quantum Barracuda watch that my father gifted me in high school, and since
then, I've amassed nearly 100 wristwatches of different brands and models.
Some of my favorites include Hamilton, Tag Heuer, Sinn, Panerai, Oris,
Breitling, Longines, Bvlgari, Omega, Seiko, Gshock, Chopard, and almost 30
pieces of Rolex. I've always been drawn to the brand for its quality and
unique story.
Despite being aware of IWC, I never gave it a chance due to the price range
and always stuck to Rolex models. However, a friend of mine introduced me to
the Ti bracelet chrono IWC Aquatimer 2000, and I fell in love with it.
Recently, I found a pre-owned Aquatimer 2000 Ti ref. IW353804 in great
condition, but the rubber strap needed replacing. Unlike my experience with
Rolex boutiques, IWC Boutique was incredibly kind and helpful in ordering a
new rubber strap for me.
I've been wearing the Aquatimer 2000
Ti for the past 10 days, and I'm absolutely in love with it. I'm also
considering adding a 41 or 43mm Pilot Chronograph to my collection soon. I'm
excited to have found this forum and the wealth of
information available here. While it
may not be the most active forum, I'm looking forward to connecting with other
watch enthusiasts and sharing our experiences.
I've been fortunate enough to attend Basel World several times over the years,
and I'm also part of a watch forum in my country that includes fellow IWC
collectors. I know this has been a long introduction, but I wanted to share my
passion for watches and my journey with you all. Thanks for taking the time to
read, and have a great day!
