Functions & Features New Forum

Dear Collectors` and friends of IWC,

We would like to accumulate questions around functions and features around the new forum.

The idea is, to gather all questions and answers from IWC as well as from other users to be able to react quicker and be more flexible.

We have noticed the following:

Visibility of alias/user name vs. real name
For some users the real name instead of alias or user name is displayed automatically when posting. It can be changed very quickly.
Click on the user name in the upper navigation, "Account Settings", "Display Name", then choose which name should be displayed and save.

On the interim Forum format you could go back and edit your own post if a mistake was made. Is this still possible on the new Forum? That was a great feature.

Changing the information on my profile page does not seem to stick. After saving the added data seem to have disappeared again.

Also, not on the forum but on the main site the "enlarged" view on the product pages, does not seem to work on Safari and Chrome (will only allow download of Hi-Res image). Zooming in and out does work with Firefox. (I am using a Mac)

Hello friends ! I am new to the Forum, would like to share my collection but how do i upload the pictures from my computer on to the Forum site. Thanks in advance !

I also don't see the "edit" function for correcting mistakes, my profile doesn't appear to retain updates, the membership date is incorrect...without a way to provide a correction, and the watches no longer includes the serial numbers. I'm wondering if these features have gone away?

I don't see a Log Out button. I can log in, but when it is time to log out, there is no button that I can find. I am I missing it? It is only an issue if you log in and click the button that says remember me, otherwise you can just close the browser out.

There is a standard computer operating system where you have to click on the Start button to shutdown the computer (yes I know it is bizarre), and the logout/signout button can be found in similar manner: just click on Hello on the button bar at the top and scroll down to signout.

That's Hello and Goodbye in a nutshell.

Firstly, I'm a relatively new member, so hello to everyone. I'm looking forward to geting more involved on the forum.

With regard to functions and features, I notice that search results appear in no particular order. From my point of view date order would be best. I've looked but can't see any way to sort results. Am I correct or just blind!
