    Galapagos Chrono

Where did you learn only 250 pieces were made?

My understanding, the Galapagos Chrono is not a limited edition, but may be only available from the boutique shops (at least initially it seems). So perhaps it may be correct that only 250 have been built so far, there should be more coming from the factory.

My AD recently offered information that "we have ordered two for other customers and it took 4 - 6 weeks to come in." This was not a boutique. Not sure about the LE.

    Strange..

My AD also told me it is a limited edition but this isn't mentioned anywhere in the product information (see Novelties archive 2009) or in the details found on this site under 'Collection / Aquatimer'.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    you're right, it's not a limited edition....

...although production is relatively small due to the work of vulcanizing rubber to the case. I do not believe IWC has disclosed current production numbers, so the 250 is a guess or rumor at best.

    Regards,
    Michael
