Just got my first IWC timepiece last week for my birthday. A surprise gift
from my wife and daughter.
Got the beautiful Pilot's Chrono Top Gun ref. IW388007 with the lovely 89365
movement. I've been wanting to buy an IWC watch for years now after a good
friend of mine who's a huge IWC fan got me into watches ha! My dream is still
a Big Pilot but this was an incredible surprise. The watch wears and feels
just incredible. I look at it at times and just stare like an idiot at the
seconds hand moving.
The best part for me is the date window. My oh my, the date window is just
gorgeous. Also the lume! Love how it lights up like a torch.
Anyway, enough of that. Wanted to share this with everyone here because not
many of the people around me understand what this watch means to me.
Waiting to see if IWC launches a special edition of the BP next year for the
20th anniversary. If so, I'm getting that. Otherwise, just the simple and
slick classic BP will be next.
