After many
years I was able to fulfill a dream, but unfortunately it's not
possible to post iPhone images in Portrait in the correct orientation.
Image upload is there but not how it should. So probably I keep posting them
on Facebook as most of the guys and I usually too do. As a forum member who
joined in the first year of the forum, I find this a little bit disappointing.
Anyway guys, I hope, you enjoy a little bit with me.

I distinctly remember a fellow IWC fan describing the IWC perpetual calendar
of a DaVinci model in the 1980's when I hadn't yet seen one. I smiled as he
described that it showed not just the date, but the day, and the month, and
the moonphase...and I laughed out loud with joy when he finally added "and the
year!" I nearly fell off my chair when he said that in the year 2199 you had
to have a watchmaker remove the annual indicator and update it with the
indicator that showed the next three centuries, which, naturally, IWC included
when you purchased the watch. Incredible!
Holy smoke indeed. This is a fantastic addition to your IWC collection. I
know you have been in love with it for a long while and had to sacrefice to
obtain your grail. Congrats.
