Greece is a charming place, with wonderful people and a proud history. But, alas, as I'm visting the islands I've seen virtually no watch shops. One Rlx dealer , and few places selling Sector, Citizen and a few no-name brands.

I felt I'd finally hit pay-dirt on Corfu. But this store no longer carries any brands except Cartier. Any guesses why they don't have IWC?

So I'm just struggling along, enjoying the sites and trying to support the Greek economy. I figure that's good for everyone. Here I am in Monemvasia,a very special place

By the way, my Galapagos Aquatimer has proven to be a great travel watch. Very stealth and incredibly durable and versatile.

Happy staying dear Michael, Greece is a fantastic country, I love everything about it.

Of course there are some exceptions, especially when you come across some questionable subjects... LOL!

    @ Alan,

    iVC is misspelling IWC.

In English, we say eye-double ewe-see. In German pronunciation but not spelling the W becomes a V. Like "eh-evitzy".

LOL. I thought it might be a knockoff brand.

MF - great to see you so relaxed and yes that AT is ideal for this time of year on the islands and near the water!

It's also good to be supporting the locals - but please avoid any boisterous gang of 4 sporting watches and gageling about IVC's - LOL ;-)

Michael, glad you are enjoying yourself. The AT is always a solid choice to travel with.
    Love the hat!

It looks like you are certainly enjoying the cruise with your Panama Hat, Galalagos AT, and some excellent Greek wine, I'm sure.

You look like you're having a good time, but those two cats seem very disinterested!

Perhaps you are suffering from watch withdrawal? I bet Kay is grateful, however.

I clearly resemble that remark! Greece is a wonderful place to visit. I'm glad to see you're having a good time, Michael! Greetings from the long plane trip home!
