I'm just curious if the Velcro strap for the GST Aquatimer 2000 is good for swimming in both clorine and saltwater?
I have the rubber strap and titanium bracelet, but prefer the watch on Velcro.
If so just wash after use with fresh water like I would the watch?
I'm sure it's fine since the bund model of the Ocean 2000 come with it.

The velcro strap is made for saltwater use, no worries there. Chlorine pool water can lighten the strap, and even prolonged exposure to sunlight will bleach the color out over time. But the effect is not unsightly, I kind of like it, similar to a patina. I would rinse well after use and not worry about it.

Chlorine would be more for vacations, we've personally had "saltwater" pools personally.
