Does anybody know any details about the IWC GST Quatz yellow gold chronograph that was avaliable around 15 years ago? I bought one new but haven't been able to trace any records about how many were sold or how collectable these watches are. I know that numbers were very limited and the quatz/mechanical movement was a 'failed' experiment for IWC!!
    Any info apresiated.

    Hi Robinashman,
There aren't many gold versions of your watch around. I don't have production quantities but we only see about 4 a year in our workshops in the UK compared with about 6 a month for both the steel and titanium models.

Please note that under no circumstances can it be accepted that
"quaRtz/mechanical movement was a 'failed' experiment for IWC"
The Jaeger LeCoultre 630 movements and their evolutions have been used by IWC for about 21 years, appearing in Porsche Design, Portofino, Da Vinci, Ingenieur, GST, 3739 and Pilot's watches.
