Happy anniversary to the Boutique!
What a great place to meet up with new friends and old friends!
Last August I flew almost 6,000 miles to visit the Boutique (no direct flight from HNL to HKG) and met up with SC Fong for the first time even though I've known him on-line since 2004.
We showed up wearing the same watch and almost the same clothes (although SC wears his watch on the wrong hand).
Gary and the rest of the staff at the Boutique are great hosts!

I remember my first trip to the HK boutique in 2010 and it was just minutes after I have checked into my hotel. It's a great boutique and rightfully it will remain so for many years to come. Happy birthday!
Congratulations and Happy Anniversary - I visited HK this year but unfortunately I didnt know about this Boutique, next time I'll be visiting

Just got an email yesterday from Gary Soloveicik of the flagship boutique. He announced to us the dreadful news of his resignation from IWC! The 1881 flagship boutique will surely not be the same without him.
I will surely miss him.

@Kelvin, same as you, it is sad to know we will not see Gary in the IWC HK flagship boutique. But, it is happy to know he has a career progression opportunity in the sister brand.
yes! certainly. Just that I will really miss him... as that is not a brand that I could afford (at least not any time soon)!

Happy anniversary. I have visited the Boutique twice so another visit is overdue. It will have to be in 2013.
I find it really sad to learn That Gary is no longer with the flagship store. May I know who the new manager of the flagship store is? I will surely miss talking to him about the watches and the fact that my wife loves to leave me at the boutique as a sort of a day care center as she shops.

the new boutique manager has not been appointed yet (perhaps not for a while, perhaps very soon - both cases have occurred in other HK boutiques). As of today, the most senior sales staff is Karen, the Asst Boutique Manager, whose assistance and hospitality have gone well beyond the normal call of duty every time I know of :)
