It's time to change the strap on my 3717 and was thinking of possibly switching to a deployant. I'm having some trouble finding the right strap and was wondering if anyone has tried this and had any suggestions.
The obvious choice would have been to buy the strap used with the 5001 but those are 1mm wider at the lugs.
My concern is that the short end of the OEM strap is too long for a deployant and that the clasp instead of sitting on the lower part of my wrist will instead be shifted towards the outer part, thus being uncomfortable.
One more constraint: the strap is blue.
I think I know the answer to this one, but thought I'd reach out to everyone just in case there was something I hadn't considered.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
