    Hello,

I've owned TAGS,Tudors, omegas and a couple of Rolex however this is my first IWC (hopefully)...

I bought this spitfire and can return it with 7 days if there is a problem.

The watch is well used but I don't mind that i just need to know that its real.
Could the experienced of you please cast an eye over the photos and tell me if it's real or not.

    Thanks!

From the supplied pictures, it looks OK
    That said.......

    1. Does the watch come with correct box and papers?
    2. If not, why?
    3. Do you trust the seller?
    4. What makes you suspect it is not original?

If you have any reservations, walk away.

    Hi Mark,

I appreciate your feedback and the speed at which you replied . In answer to your questions. The watch came with no box or papers, the price reflected this. As the watch isn’t grail watch for me (although very nice to have) I’m not too bothered about it.

I rightly or wrongly figure that if watches can be faked to the levels where it’s getting increasingly difficult to tell real from fake then the box and paperwork are easy to replicate.

The seller has a store with new and used genuine watches, but even seasoned stores can make mistakes.. To my untrained eye the watch seems fine. Details such as the small hand, thread on crown are all there..

I just wanted to check that there isn’t something obvious that I’ve missed.

From what I've read these watches don't have matching movement and serial case back numbers. So I believe I shuoldn't be concerned that mine are different.

Iwc isn’t a brand I considered too much before, but this watch has definitely spiked my interest.

    Kind regards

Doesn't sound very trustworthy for me. Event if it's a genuine IWC It might be stolen.

It's a vaild point you bring up.

I'll get more answers on the watches history from the seller.
