Hello, I'm new to the forum - I hope this type of question is acceptable.

I've recently received a few vintage watch bits, including an IWC dial that I'm having a hard time to place. The condition is very poor (although the photo below makes it appear 10x worse than it really is) - can anyone identify if it's from a wrist watch or pocket watch, and which model? It's approx. 40mm, so presumably the latter.

    Any suggestions welcome! Many thanks.

40 mm dial diameter points to a pocket watch with aprox. 45 mm in diameter.

That shrinks it to movements with a diameters about 38 mm.

So, it could fit to cal. 95, cal. 97, e.g. of the 30s ?!
