Hi, I have this marriage watch which I'm told is a 1924 IWC pocket watch with
new case, dial and hands. Any ideas if this is actually an iwc movement and
any history appreciated! Thanks in advance

It looks like an IWC Cal 52 movement.

There is no history we can give as neither the dial, case nor hands are by
    IWC.

I am trying to discern the serial number of the movement. It looks like 80190
    - which would date this calibre 52 to about 1892!
