Bought a watch rather impulsively - does this look genuine? Or should I take it back to the seller?
Compared to other examples online, the script of the letter 'I' looks more curly, and the 'Automatic' has serifs

the watch looks legit. From what i see in your pictures, the case most probably has been restored, it looks like new which is uncommon for a watch from the late fifties. The dial seems also to be refinished. It is hard to judge on just the photos. My suspicion comes from the silver base color of the dial that is creeping up the polished hour markers. As before mentioned, hard to judge by looking at photos only. I would expect a fish crown on that watch.
