    I have opened a FLICKR account but I am unable to copy the URL in a format that our Forum will recognize. Please help with tips on how to format the IMG string

    Hi Mark,

    this is how Flickr provides the link:

    [url=flic.kr/p/WD2sQ3]
    [
    img]farm5.staticflickr.com/4327/35862261186_fb2b24ef30_b.jpg[/img]

    [
    url=www.flickr.com/photos/156622856@N07/]Majo Komar, on Flickr

    and this is how you are supposed to cut it:

    [*img]farm5.staticflickr.com/4327/35862261186_fb2b24ef30_b.jpg[/img]

    That means you have to take out only the IMG tag.

    All the tags are in reality without the " * " character, I have added those so the code is not interpreted by the browser.

    This works for me :
    go to "share photo", copy the BBcode and paste this in your text.
    No need to do more, works for me.

    What is BBcode? I don't see that in Flikr. Need step by step instructions with pictures I guess. I went to share and the code displayed did not work in preview mode.

    I found this on TZ. It seems to work, but I don't know ow this picture I am trying to post will work out. Tonny, please delete if this the picture is crazy....it's a pic of Argiris and me in his home town.

    The instructions: I uploaded photos to Flickr and my photos are located in something called 'Photostream'.

    Click on any photo and you will be taken to a screen where only the photo you selected is seen (with faint arrows pointing left and right to move along).

    On the lower right side, in a row, there are a series of symbols. There is a fat arrow that curves and points to the right. Click that and you get a menu which has options:

    SHARE - EMBED - EMAIL - BBCODE

    The attempt: I don't know why the picture has a black frame around it. That's not my editing.

    Thank You Bill
    I tried it on my PC and it worked. Now I need to try it on my laptop.
    So there is no more posting from my iPhone anymore. That functionality is not available.

    It would be nice to have an IWC solution without 3rd party hosting. If it's coming soon, all the "Photobucket-Forummers" would not have to switch to FLICKR or simmilar...
    So, is there an approx. timeframe to announce?
    Thanks for the support.

    Cheers Chris
