Hello, I come to the forum to know if someone can give me the date of making
my watch with the serial number? It bears the number 1242556. You have here a
photo of the bottom with its number series.

On the other hand, his dial does not look so common. What do you think?

Thank you in advance for your help and very nice day to all. sincere
    Greetings, Ludovic

It is indeed cal. 89, produced in 1951 and probaly sold between 151-1953.

Together with the cal. 85 series( Ingenieurs) it were the best IWC movements
for wrist watches and even among the best ever for all Swiss brands.

    Regards,

    Adrian,

    (alwaysiwc).
