I have received two vintage IWC watches from my mother-in-law... but finding it difficult to turn up any information about them. I'm guessing they are from the 1960s, perhaps 1970s...
Black leather watch:rectangular (portrait orientation - 21mm x 30mm) dial, yellow gold case with curved underside (seems to be shaped to the wrist rather than sitting flat), case is 6mm deep, black face. Gold batons at 12, 3, 6, 9. Black, patterned (fine repeated "pebble" (?) pattern) leather strap. Strap seems to go into the case rather than end at the lugs. Yellow gold clasp.
White gold watch:rectangular (landscape orientation - 15mm x 11mm) dial, white gold case, white face, surrounded by 28 small diamonds. Batons for all numbers. White gold, "scale" texture strap. IWC logo on clasp.
I'll try and post some photos asap - until then, I would be most grateful for any information/links to sites or documents that can help me find out more about these watches.
Many thanks in advance for any assistance.
