    Dear forum,

I have inherited and IWC and from the case number it is circe 1964 however I have failed to find this in any images or catalogue and would appreciate any assistance in finding out more about it.

I cannot find a movement number on it either.

    Images are attached.

You have inherited a really nice vintage IWC
It's a Ref 1313 from what's inscribed in the caseback, but I don't know the Caliber.

    Thank you Mark :)

I have found the movement number and dated the IWC using the app -

    the reuslt is -

The movement is a calibre 402, dating from the year 1967.
The case was most probably produced around 1964 and delivered up to 1967.

I am not sure about any other details but would this be considered a god one ? rare ? common ?

    Many thanks in advance.

Indeed a Cal.402, in a nice full gold case.

Whist not scarce - we do not see too many complete watches out here with the movement as many watches are destroyed for the gold value.

Nice watch good movement- get it serviced and it will keep good time and last for another 50 years plus with regular services.

I would like to insure this watch now and have no idea of the value.
It was valued at £2000 40 years ago.

Would anyone be able to advise me on this or would I need to send it off somewhere >?

    Thanks in advance.
