help with vintage calibre 401

hi guys, very new here. always been intrigued by the vintage watches, none more than the iwc.

been looking around and saw one available. seller was willing to go down to authenticate with me at iwc outlet where i am at. however, just like to seek some opinions here.

any input greatly appreciated as i foray into my first vintage watch.

Cal 89 or 401 is a perfect start as you enter the vintage IWC market.
I have one comment on this piece though. I think the dial has been repainted and it did not start life with a black dial.
