    Hi All,

    I recently left my Portuguese at a friends house and picked it up a few days later. I noticed 2 things the clasp did no close which was odd and 2 it just didnt feel right. I know i should have taken photos at the start however i just wanted to know does an original portuguese come with the below clasp

    The reason i ask is for some strange reason i think when i originally purchased the watch it was like the image below

    What do you guys think from your wealth of knowledge has my friend done the ultimate shifty?

    Top photo looks correct to me, most similar to my clasps. They have that "B" mark. Now if your watch is white gold, I'd be a little suspicious.

    I am not quite sure what you mean, but the starting position seems to be that you were happy with your watch before you left it at your friend's house: correct?

    If so, two things might have happened, in order of likeliness:
    - Someone (your friend?) tried your watch on, and something happened;
    - Someone exchanged your clasp.
    Is this what you are afraid of happened?

    Friends should be trusted, and a friend should mention a mishap, after which a solution can be worked out. In the meantime I try to figure out why I would leave a watch somewhere, apart from home or safe: I can only think of a hotel room in a safe.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

    It looks to me like your clasp got inadvertently bent a little. An authorized dealer usually can fix this on the spot.
