I guess we won't see to many photo's out here of this magnificent divers watch which reflect the Deep Two as have been doing what it was built to do.

Here's a photo top-side taken aboard the diving boat showing my Deep Two reflecting the maximum depth reached during the last dive, prior to me resetting it. The red flag in the white dial showing 39m max depth. The blue flag, showing actual depth during the dive, here reflecting ZERO - meaning a return to the surface.

The picture below that of the Deep Two shows a screenshot from my dive computer interface - where one sees that indeed my maximum depth on the dive was 39m - with both the dive computer and Deep Two on the same wrist.

As a point of note - the recommended maximum depth for recreational scuba diving conducted with proper training is 30m and the absolute maximum depth is 40m.

When undertaking these dives as a qualified Technical Deep diver - I do so with careful planning, and the right training and equipment. I do so using modern battery powered electronic dive computers, where despite careful pre-dive checks I've more than once had a battery die on me during the dive - but know I trust and rely 100% on my mechanical IWC AQUATIMER AS THE ABSOLUTE BACKUP AND MOST RELIABLE PIECE OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT I HAVE ON EACH DIVE.

    Best regards
    Mark

Mark, I could not view your photos on my computer. Sometimes, Flicker does not play nice with the Forum software. The AT Deep Two shot is beautiful. Here are your pics that show up in my preview.

That Deep Two really is a fantastic looking watch. Good to see it being used as a diving watch.

Wow, that is something really cool. Love that indicator, and it's at a place many of us will never see it again.

Splendid evidence. Perhaps for the Deep Three IWC can ask you to join the team of prototype underwater testers.

Mark, thanks for sharing what the Deep Two did accurately for your technical dives and the privilege to 'reset' your dive gauge during our recent lunch gathering.

Mark - you know I love this one. Great shots, and what perfect advice!!

Guess what Mark - I remember you had looked at my PPC at Schipol, a couple of months ago I looked at a Deep Two there but now it has seemingly found a home :o) Unfortunately not with me - but I am dreaming of one!!

    Greetings Mark,
Excellent image of an IWC tool watch living up to the label, and meeting or exceeding expectations. Perfect dive profile, to boot.
You could have found a cheaper back up. But why? When there an IWC that can do the job. :-)

Mark, thanks for sharing this great pic. Beeing a diver myself and knowing your diving skills pretty well out of the many dives we did together there is only one thing I can say: This Deep Two could not have found a better dive buddy on earth than the one it found: You!

Mark, I love your post and photos. This is an excellent example of what makes IWC quality a practical attribute for a watch built for the activity for which you use it. The Deep 2 rocks!

    Hi
Unfortunately my budget does not allow an IWC DEEP TWO, Therefore I have to relay on my Suunto ZOOP
    i545.photobucket.com/albums/hh400/bdekkers/bonaire/SuuntoZoopcomputer.jpg
but luckely I have a few AT to back it up (LOL)
