For 3 weeks I am having a Heritage 48 - very nice watch - unfortunately during winding the crown wiggles quite a bit. Is this normal? Thanks for your feedback and best regards...

Hello, welcome to the forum and congrats on your new watch.
I woyld take it to the dealer and ask him if it is ok and normal. Just to be safe.
Even if with a totally different movement, I had a similar experience with the pilot chrono: www.iwc.com/forum/en/discussion/69890/?page=1#post_548320.
I did not send the watch to IWC to be checked, since beside that it works flawlessly and a double check with AD and another watch confirmed the wiggling.
Your watch is much more rare and I suppose it would be not easy to find out another Heritage 48 to compare, anyway I would consider visiting an alternative boutique or AD for confirmation. Shipping back to IWC takes ages.
Even if one could assume that the wiggle is intended to avoid bending o even braking due to excess of rigidity, I would not be able to live with my watch without knowing if it is safe.
