I had planned a "watch buddies" holiday dinner on Wednesday evening for that 'other' brand that I have in my collection ;-))))

At the last minute I was communication with a fellow collector and by coincidence he was passing through Montreal on Wednesday. I invited him to join our dinner and happily he accepted.

Richard, it was great to have you join us for some Holiday cheer and glad your drive home that night was safe:

Although most of the watches worn that evening were from that 'other' brand, I wore two watches to the dinner, just to remain neutral, LOL!!!!!!!!!! You can also see that the watch I selected from the other brand has an anonymous dial!

    Thanks for looking!

    Nad -

Thank you for the invitation and the hospitality. It was a delightful event. I appreciated meeting your lovely wife, and many of your buddies. I am so glad it worked out with the schedule. I think I got a little closer to understanding the passion collectors have for Panerai. Hope they didn't mind me wearing 2 IWCs in an effort to convert some of them...

By the way, the night before, I was in Toronto and happened into a downtown IWC authrorized retailer near my hotel. Somehow, they got to mentioning they missed you and requested I tell you to call them - perhaps you've been frequenting the boutiques in HK and Geneva too much?

Have a great new year, and see you soon.

Another example of why this is a great place to hang out.

    Is there other brands?
