WHAT LED IWC TO CHANGE FROM HANDS DESIGNED BY THE BRITISH M.O.D. ON THEIR MK
II FOR THE THE B-Uhr STYLE ?
I would guess to honour the heritage of B-Uhr and to give Mark XVI a modern
and revised look.......
I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THE B-Uhr WAS SUFICIENTLY WELL KNOWN TO STAND ON ITS OWN
MERITS. FOR ME, THE MK II HANDS HAVE AIWAYS HAD GREAT APPEAL. AN MK II SERIES
WATCH WITH B-Uhr HANDS IS A BIT OF A MIXED METAPHOR AND I BELIEVE THIS CAN NOT
HAVE BEEN LOST ON THE IWC DESIGN TEAM.
