Hello everyone. I am looking for a vintage IWC and have found some online
which I like. However, I am based in The Netherlands and the seller (it is a
screened dealer with good reviews) is based in Austria so I have to judge by
photos. But I noticed when googling images of vintage IWC pieces that there is
so much difference in fonts of dial numerals as well in the logo font.

How can you be sure if it is a legit watch?

The seller gives garantuee so I could buy it and have it checked at a IWC
service center? Anyone has any experiences with this?

The only advice I can give you is:

    RESEARCH

    RESEARCH

    RESEARCH!!!!!

Decide what you are looking for, Know what you are buying and Purchase with
knowledge. It's not easy and there are people out there willing to separate
    you from your money.

Thank you for your reply! And yes, I will definitely do my research, hence my
question, because there seems to be so many different styles and fonts, so it
is hard to find out which one in sincere.
