I own a Pilot 3880 ceramic with a 89365 movement, Ive been told plenty of times that the watch cannot be over-wound, But is there any audible sound difference given off by the movement to tell when its reached full power?

    Hi Vincente
There is a clutch mechanism attached to the mainspring, preventing it from overwinding. This works by allowing it to slip in the barrel.

There is no real indication that this is happening and sometimes a click or clicking sound can be heard when the mainspring is close to full wind. The operation is fully automated and you should not be aware of it.

What is most important, is to wind the crown min 30 turns to power the mainspring and the automating winding system will ensure that your watch remains fully wound.

    HI
I am planning on buying an IWC Mark XV. A watch I adore.

I know some were made with anti -reflective coating and some not. My question is - can you buy an anti reflective coating crystal for a Mark XV? Does one go through IWC ?
    Any assistance greatly appreciative
    Many thanks
    Bren
