I can't believe that I haven't posted my last Euro trip yet (tons of pics) > > > >

...............since June!!!! It seems just like yesterday that I came back.

Anyway, here goes:

At least the plane is at the gate:

FRA:

Finally at my gate for the connecting flight!

Well, there was a slight delay because of a "police action" at the gate area because some guy left his bag unattended, so we were all asked to move away while they inspected the lone bag!!!!

We were finally allowed to return and boarded the flight.

Arriving at my destination:

I love Firenze, home to that other brand, LOL!!!!!!!

I couldn't visit Firenze without seeking out some of the best Burrata in the city! Out for dinner on the first evening:

This was the coolest table with the lighting from underneath!

Our waitress with the wine we selected:

Simple flatbread with a drizzle of a delicate olive oil, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!

Finally the Burrata with shaved truffles!!!!!!!!!

Pizza dinner:

After dinner I was invited to the other brand event:

The next day at the Four Seasons garden:

Walking back to the hotel:

A cold beer in the lobby, cheers!

Ready for another evening out at the invitation of the other brand!

The event was held at a military academy:

After dinner relaxation!!

Back to the airport the next morning:

Landed in GVA and guess where my first stop is?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coffee the following morning in the old-town square:

I quick stop at the Boutique with a friend before he had fly back to HK:

Dinner with friends and magnum of Red wine!!!!!!

The food was delicious at Dix Vins:

Nad, great post. Your pictures brought back memories of my numerous visits to the boutique in Geneva during SIHH. It was your post earlier in the summer about this visit that inspired me to contact the Boutique and order my Patrouille Suisse, so thank you. I'm sitting here typing this post wearing my new PS and loving it.

I notice, Nad, that when you shoot streetscapes young women often end up in the way of the scenery. It's such a shame. :)

I must have earned a million frequent flyer miles by now just from viewing your travelogues. Always so well presented. Thanks for taking the time to share with us, not to mention the many IWC "pit stops". When you gotta go, you gotta go...am I right?

BTW, that training case is some showpiece. We IWC freaks just love that kind of stuff. I was amazed at the shots of the embossed Port Chrono dial. Gives me a teriffic view of the back side and how the markers are pressed out. WONDERFUL !! Makes me appreciate my 3714 that much more.
