I joined a new IWC Collectors' Club today...one headed by a Dutchman and a Belgian. Good company for sure.

Thanks to our intrepid sleuth, PW specialist and great enabler, 8541, I have now joined a new Collectors’ Club. I am very, very happy with this starter PW in my to be expanding collection.

Before the beauty shots, here is what I have learned.

According to "Date Your IWC" my new baby is an IWC, Lepine Pocket Watch, c 65 produced in 1919 and delivered in 1925. So far it is running perfectly. The dial is perfect, no crazing or cracks. The movement is a bit dirty. I will send it out for service soon. I am excited to have this as a start for a new collection.

Next week I have a black tie event and I will be wearing this with vest and chain. I hope some folks ask me the time. Thanks Tonny too for some post acquisition education. But, Mark is the great enabler and guide for my quest.

Getting the lighting right for macro shots is not easy. Getting closer, but still room for improvement. I will be wearing it to a Black Tie Gala on Saturday.
