    Sorry but I don't buy all these Grandfather stories. No one ever inherits an old but genuine IWC from his grandfather as one would assume. All get or find some recent fake models from their grandfathers. Those old people are not so stupid as they're sold to us here. I just don't buy all these stories.
    Nothing personal in this case but we hear these stories here every week.

    Good point, Tilo.  The watch that the one pictured is intended to simulate is what, maybe ten years old?  While the story could be true, that certainly is not the most likely watch that someone's late grandfather would have bought.
