    Hello good morning everyone,

I would like to ask for some assistance in identifying my IWC, as after
several hours of searching online yielded nothing that matches this particular
timepiece. It is fully functional and I suspect it has the original strap, but
as I do not have appropriate tools, I do not want to open the case myself to
    find any markings within.

EDIT: I believe this to be a 1921 Caliber 74, but I've not been able to find
one with this exact match of case, dials and face

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance

Your watch is probably a Cal 83, but without seeing the movement I cannot tell
    you more.

Cal 83 was in production from 1930 to 1947. The Breguet hands are unusual.

Hey Mark, thank you, much appreciated. I will try to get a few more pictures
to see if we can dig a bit deeper. I tried checking the 83s but I cannot find
any with the embossed numerals or with this specific format of numerals
either. I suppose I might not be looking in the right places.

I will come back with more pictures once I have them, in the meantime, thank
    you for your help

    Cheers

Hello again, I was able to get it open and take a few more pictures. Here they
    are:

Great to see the pictures. Confirming that the movement is a Cal 83.

The serial number in the caseback dates the watch to between 1935 to 1937.

If you give me the serial number on the movement, we can firm this up.

EDIT: or it is 56277, it is quite hard to tell with the numbering

    Those are not correct.

It needs to be a 6 digit number. You will need a magnifying glass.

The watch was made and cased in 1937.

Unfortunately there is no reference number stamped into the caseback. During
this time, it was not common to do so.

Thank you very much Mark, that already helps quite a lot. There is a number
stamped in the inside of the caseback, I'm not sure that makes a difference?

    The number is 998129

That is the case number and I used it to date the case.

Well, makes sense. Thank you very much for your help on this one Mark, you're
    a star.
    Have a great evening :)
