I don't have any ref documents for IWC, can someone tell me exactly which
Calibre this is, and maybe check the serial # for me?

Where these watches ever knockoffs? Is in an IWC .900 silver case, so I'm
sure it's legit but wanted to check.

Lastly, if anyone happens to have a hairspring and bal wheel to match, let me
    know!

That's a very nice pocket watch.

The Date Your IWC Applet identifies it as Cal 52 from 1900.

Thanks for the lookup. Any suggestions on who might have a balance staff and
hairspring for this movement? OR, someone skilled at reworking that
hairspring? (still needs a staff) :) I can do the rest of the overhaul, but
not into staffs that much anymore nor hairspring work.

What you have is no Cal.49, but an older (but not very old) Cal. 52.

In case the dial is original to the watch you have a watch for the Italian
    railroad company Rete Mediterranea.

    No spare parts here.

Thanks for the ident, I don't have any other IWC's so no collector
    documentation!

If anyone has a suggestion on who can do the staff and the hairspring I'd
aprpeciate it, it's beyond my skillset anymore.

MAYBE if I had a staff i could do the staff, but i'm no hairspring restoration
    expert!
