    Hello everyone,

I bought this watch some years ago but don't know much about it.
It is from the (late) 1960s as far as I know but that is about it.
Can anybody help me with some details like year, model no/caliber or if that red arrow on the second hand is original?

    Thanks a lot,
    Dan

    Welcome to the Forum,

À quick look tells me this is probably a ref 810, a relatively common IWC from the late 60's or early 70's. Should contain a caliber 854 (8541 for date version).

The red arrow second hand is a non original replacement if you ask me.

    Best
    /Anders

    Hello Anders,

Thanks, that was a quick answer to my question.
I googled that model and I think you are right.
Looks like it...and no arrow anywhere.

    Best,
    Dan

    Hi Dan,

I concur with Anders. Also, the second hand looks a little short --I think it's clearly a replacement.

But otherwise really a classic watch. Very nice indeed.
