identifying vintage watch?

Please help me identify this watch! '50 or 60'?

Probably a caliber 89 from the 1960's. A photo of the inside of the case back
and the movement will offer more clues, but I recommend only a watchmaker
remove the back. Too bad about the dial condition. Hopefully the movement
hasn't suffered a similar fate.
