With my old MacBook, I was having trouble logging on to the Forum using Firefox. Safari worked fine.

I've since gotten a new MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion (OX10.8.1) and have had no problems.

No problems here on my Mac. I have noticed that in Chrome, my cmd+click to open a thread in a new tab, sort of works. It opens a new tab, but the current tab also loads the same thread...

Same problems for me on the iPad and the iPhone. No chance to log in. So I did not bother anymore to access via these two devices, even if I am then missing to do a post while on the road.

The issue continues. Yesterday, my time ran out for the stayed connected selection and was asked (as is normal) to sign in again on my MacBook Pro. After five hours I am still not signed in. For my iMac and iPad, where I am still automatically signed in, they are okay until it's time to do so again???

P.S. On my MBP, I cleared the cache, clearing all IWC cookies, and took out my password in keychain. None of that helped.

    WOW

I just logged out and then logged back in as suggested by KS and it works a dream. Thanks KS

    Shane try this method.
I usually go to a thread and click on 'comment' and it will prompt you to sign in. I realize that signing in this way is much faster and it doesn't hang.

It should work. Otherwise give me a yell on email or viber.

WOW, works for me too... Thanks for this "work around"!

Great KS, this works fantastic, no delays at all.

I had the same problem on my iPad and the workaround works for me as well

I am glad I am not alone. Since I switched to a MacBook Air, I've experienced just about all the problems described in this thread. Same with the iPhone. Doesn't IWC like Apple? :-)

Again, for iPhones and iPads. When you sign in be sure to check the box to stay signed in first. Then enter the required name and password. Then just wait... Don't do anything else until the registration goes through in about a minute or less.
Works every time on both devices.

Still, it should not happen like that. Logging in IWC should be a straight forward procedure, as logging in to bank online. Something is wrong with Apple, IWC, or both..

LOL! I think I got it, might be Apple with issues regarding competing products:

iMac - iPhone - iPad and iWC...

    Cheers!

Don't shoot the messenger! LOL. Obviously, something is amiss and needs software update attention.

The "comment" method worked for me !!

Great ! Now I might delete Google Chrome since it's only purpose is to use with IWC Forum ;)
