I think I might like it better...
without the tourbillon. The position of it is a bit awkward, and it is a bit too overpowering when you consider the delicate dial, hands and roman numbers. Plain it would be a wonderful and desirable Portuguese type of watch.

Mine said "Richard Habring" on the dial, which was the name of the watchmaker. It was a converted IWC pocket watch movement with a tourbillon added, as shown here. Herr Habring was the watchmaker who "invented" IWC's rattrapante mechanism and also developed IWC's Deep One model. He subsequently moved on the Lange and then went out on his own. A very good guy, too.
I suspect the one shown here was an early Habring tourbillon.
