Immensely enjoying this pilot

Hi Forum Friends,

I realized this morning how much I enjoy this 'simple' classic UTC Pilot's watch. It's also been one of the 'earlier' watches in my collection, and I do not think I will ever sell it:
- 39 mm is small for modern standards, but it is the perfect size for a small wrist like mine
- the Time Zone Corrector function is brilliant when traveling
- IWC's steel bracelets are the best, and certainly these older ones!
- I had the crystal replaced by an Anti-Reflective version, so the view on the dial is much better

Yes, I like that UTC too and the Chrono with the identical case as well.

Ok, this is the ceramic variant, but it has the same case shape :-)

Bob, because of you and this watch, I had to order the bracelet to fit my UTC. It has not arrived yet, but I can't wait!

The UTC looks absolutely great with that crystal and the bracelet! I will have to give mine some more wrist time. Here it is on a strap.

Hi Jens-Kristian, the strap is also very nice indeed and I have it as well, although I must admit I never put it on the strap anymore (I do swap strap-bracelet on my Mark XVII strangely enough).
