    Hi Alan,
my real name was read in the German forum for years.
Because now you can no longer read.
    I'm sorry.
    Only so much to me:
I am passionate IWC watches owner of 9.
And I was happy there for years at home, because you could tell where his opinion freely.
I see no reason here to give my name.
Because I am not happy in a forum in which every second post
    deleted.
That we were not accustomed to the German forum.
    Have fun in your forum.

    regards

Ok, I understand your point of view and disappointment. I get it. But obviously you have a passion for IWC and I would like to read your input from time to time. We all need different points of view.
But you must know that the reason the Forum was consolidated was that IWC wanted a "moderated" forum. You may not like it but MF follows IWC's rules. So from time to time posts are deleted.

Please reconsider your stance. We need passionate collectors with something to say. But we all must follow the rules.

I agree with Alan, that's about how I feel about it. I try to say what I want to say here in a polite way, and sometimes I cross a line I don't see. Tough, but getting a post deleted once in a while makes me smile more than that it annoys me or so. Having fun with the watches, fantasising, the contacts, that is what it is all about for me.

What I don't get is that kind of hypersensitivity about this all: sometimes I would think that some loss in the family occured, or a hurricane. Adult people that may have a responsible job seem terribly hurt, it makes you wonder how they cope with the daily challenges and disappointments, along with a string of successes of course.

I would say, there is a new situation here, let's make the best of it, or even better, let's have a great time, there is every reason for this.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

I would like to do what IWC asks me to do, no more and no less. I do not want to delete posts and, really, have better things to do with my time. Deletions were statistically infrequent previously, but will be even more so in the future. Only posts that are clearly "out of line", such personal attacks, commercial promotions, obscenities, etc. will be deleted. As previously mentioned, posts on this forum need to be in English.

I sincerely hope that everyone here will participate substantively, to talk about IWC watches, and to give this new consolidated forum a fair chance over a reasonable time. I also hope that everyone will express themselves in a way that is mutually respectful, as guests in IWC's house. We can disagree, we can criticize and we can discuss. And there will be more and better substance about IWC here than anywhere in the world --any denial of that is throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

Thanks...and let's look forward constructively to the future. And let's talk watches.

IWC forgot who really creates a brand - the customers and afficionados. You can not remain silent if from day to day, without warning someone is taking you a place where you spend so much time. Very inappropriate or even stupid moves made by IWC. Too bad...
Hope that my poor english will not disturb you :)

    Best regards,
    Tom
