Once again my excuses to all for my delay with the fhotos....but now my little son feels better(after the last night spent in the hospital..again)and now I am in the mood to share with you this timepices....
Because this watch was to"war"(my grandfather told as,with tears in his eyes, that his frend, the german officer, never leaves his watch even in the fiercest battles-just as an icon-and the only time he did it was to their farewell in 1944,when he took his watch and put it on my grandfather's hand..... what times, what mens they were)...it has a few small scratches on the the surface.
I don"t now exactly what are your standards to appreciated and estimated a watch, but for me and my fammily it"s the most beautifull and dearest watch in the world for over 70 years......almost a lifetime!
And now i let you enjoy the photos at

I think the watch looks fantastic! Does it still run? If necessary, IWC can maintain the movement so that it runs perfectly again, but make sure they don't touch anything else, to keep the watch looking as it is, with all its history. Enjoy it!

    Kind regards,
    Paul
