This has been a very special IWC month for me. What with the Pure Classic landing in my lap so to speak, Watch #22 being presented in the IWC museum Black Beauty, Fedex arriving at the door with a parcel direct out of Schaffhausen, not once BUT TWICE, and having today finaly been able to secure a great timepiece thats been on my wish list for some considerable time!

In fact, ever since I saw Andrew's reveal on this one - I just knew it simply needed to be added to my collection. However this one is a scarce beast - and I've twice needed to walk away because the price was too high.

But today, my local AD came through yet again for methis man wins the vote for AD of the century, as far as I am concerned!

I am going to sit here all evening and look at this familiar cardboard box, with those familiar IWpart number printed on it - and then maybe tomorrow or the next day, I think (weather permitting) I'll take it out for a true NAD SHOT. If I manage to get a descent photo -
I'll post it up here - so look out for my big reveal!

@ Andrew, maybe just maybe I might consider to reveal a bit earlier...but only if I can extract a commitment from you to post a picture of yours (i think it is a different Ref. #) too imeadiately afterwards for comparison purposes - of course time allowing on your side.

I have 10 watches currently in Schaffhausen - and a few at hand - and a few in the bank vault. But if you reveal and I am not in bed and I have the watch at home I will do it ASAP. Promise

PS: sssshhhh - Medard and Maurice sends you their very best wishes.

Today is one of those cloudy rainy days so typical of The Netherlands here. So with nothing really better to do, I tried to get some descent shots taken indoors here, but its not really working and a flash photo wrist shot is definately not going to do justice or show off the dial in the best light.

So sorry Giovanni ( who is privately blasting me with emails to REVEAL!) - but you are going to need to wait untill a break in the rain here, and I promise to step outside and get a descent picture (ok no promises of Bill, Clemens type quality) posted taken in natural light....

Patience is a virtue - or so they tell me!

Thanks for the patience folks...as promised I managed to get out into natural light and given that numerous attempts at getting a wrist shot simply failed outright, I needed to opt for the only other option.

Ladies and Gents, I give you the SUPERNAD SHOT

    1) I did give advance warning it was going to be the BIGGEST watch I've revealed - trust you are not disappointed.
    2) I now await diligently for Andrew to post a photo of his similar timepiece, for comparison purposes.
    3) Request others lucky enough to own this scarce timepiece, to post photos of theirs.
    4) Last but not least I wish to pay dues to Mr. Nad Zakem founder and IP Rights owner of "The Nad Shot"

Wonderful shot and addition. This gives a whole new meaning to doing a "wheelie".

    We're the batteries included?

It's not just a great Nad shot, but also a new steering wheel clock.

I am sure you will find an appropriate place to display this.
