Very nice timepiece. Congratulation my dear friend. Wear it in good health
Congrats...... and here is mine.
Cheers,
sc
That is a big reveal. I assume you'll wear it on a chain, Flav-o-Flav style. :) Congratulations.
Thanks SC - a Mark XV too....
Oh look its an airbag in disguise!
By the way and seriously, does it have lume or not?
Very cool, Mark! I like that a lot.
Great Nad shot, too!
Congratulations Mark, that's a Great new timepiece to add to your collection! I would say 'Enjoy and wear it in good health' but that will probably hurt your back in the long run so let's stick to 'Enjoy it in good health' :-)
Kind regards,
Clemens
@ Greg ....believe it or not : YES - it has lume on hands and the 12, 3, 6 and 9 markers.
Mark,
Congratulations, hang it in good health.
Kevin
LOL. I love this.
Mark - hope to see u wearing this timepiece in October !!!
BIG congrats :)))
Nice one. I wonder... does it work with the air-bag? ;-)
I was looking for an Ingenieur clock for the longest time... but realizing it costed almost as much as a genuine Ingenieur, I decided I probably should use the money to get another IWC instead... at least I would hear fewer complaints from my wife with a watch than a clock. :-)
If the trend for increasingly big watches continues, you are already ahead of the curve and ready to wear it on the wrist. :-)
Indeed a huge "watch" ;-)
Enjoy!
When I first saw this clock at my AD's wall in SH, a Mk XVI in my case, I had to get it immediatly.
As it was a dealers clock freshly hung up this was not so easy. But then he phoned to Baumgartenstr. 15 if he could get another one for his wall. He could.
Lucky me I got "my" wall clock 5 minutes later.
Since many years it shows accurate time and even glows in the dark.
I use the opportunity to give a warning as many falsified dealer clocks are arround. A simple way to detect 95% of them is the movement signed "Jürgen Bölsche Geneva Swiss made" of course this man doesn't exist and the movement comes from mainland China.

Robert
Great story Robert - but it does mean you are now sincerely requested to post a photo of it "a wall shot" so to speak!
Well done Mark - we had a lot of fun with this BIG reveal.
My Mark XV is in my office so I will not be in the office today so I will take an updated snap then.
A quick "wall shot" ;-)
I omited to say that I changed the original quarz movement against a radio guided one.
Regards
Robert
Ahh..so Andrew has an even rarer MK XV - cant wait to see the "Wall Shot"!
Mark my friend, the wall clock is indeed rare and trust you to get hold of that. It's really something every IWC fan should have in their home/office. When I was yours, it reminded me of this one I saw in Auckland when I was down for the Volvo Ocean Race. It's a 'Portuguese' one...lol
The chase is on!
So where in the world is Wally, so to speak - now that the Volvo Ocean race is finished?
Lavishing forgotten somewhere in a store room? Waiting to be restored to moment of Glory pedestal and all, in some collectors office or man den?
