    Hi,
I'm still waiting for my Mark XVIII which should hopefully be delivered at my local AD in the next few days. I'm also interested in the new IWC NATO strap and I'm wondering if I should also order one or not in the meantime.

I just have one question. I know that NATO strap are quite long usually, and I'm wondering how long the IWC one is, and if the tip of the strap has to be tucked in or not into the top buckle. I'm not a big fan of super long straps.

    Thanks for your answers.

The Nato strap is 26 cm long.
Here is a pic with that strap on a normal size wrist ( not mine )

Thanks for the info and the picture. It looks like it is not as long as I thought and the length is just right.

Thanks Bill for the pictures. It's exactly what I needed to see fro the fit. Also the IWC Nato is a perfect combo with your split second pilot!
By the way the wait is finally over, I'm a proud owner of a MarkXVIIII since this afternoon. I think now I might order the Nato in brown for summer.
Thank you all again for your comments.

Bill your 3711 is a beauty! IMHO usually black dials require a blackish NATO but looking at your photo I suggest to give a try to the brown/grey IWC NATO: I think the brown would match even better the beautifully yellowed hour markings and hands Tritium.
