Hi all, recently I've become very interested in the Ingenieur. it started off
with an appreciation of sports watches in general to the discovery of Gerald
Genta and an interest in watches designed or linked to Genta. This has led me
to become increasingly interested in vintage ingenieurs, specifically the 666
and 1832. I read online that Frizzelweb is a good source of info about vintage
ingeniuers, the problem is that the frizzelweb website does not seem to be
accessible at all. Would really appreciate it if anyone could point me to good
sources of info about vintage ingenieurs. thanks in advance!

hmmm, it only seems to work when I assess it on my phone, maybe something is
wrong with my browser. Thanks Bob.

Also, thanks for the interesting movement info Mark, seems really interesting!

Sotheby's Online auction has a 666 listed which they claim to be from the year
1970, is this possible? as according to frizzelweb, the 666 was produced up
till only 1967, and looking at both the case serial number and the movement
number they both seem to correspond with watches in the mid/early 1960s, can
anyone shed light on this? thanks in advance!

Date of manafacture is not a date of sale.

The applied iwc non date 666 was sold alongside the 866 date...sort of
    becoming a
    non date 866 for a period.....got one from '72
