I have a chance to buy either one of these new from an AD. The question is at the same price which should I buy. I know get both.
It is in house and simple or rework with complication? Anyone offer any thoughts? Thanks

I would go for the date

Assuming you are discussing the titanium 3227 versus the titanium 3725, I had to decide on it about 5 years ago. On the one hand (3227) there was the brand new in-house movement with a super shock absorber and Pellaton mechanism, the date and a nice, clean dial. On the other hand there was the chrono, no date where the movement used could have had it (even a day), and a bit of a cluttered dial. The choice was easy for me. A date is far more useful than a chrono, and the movement and better looks did the rest. I am still very happy with my titanium 3227. If you can get it new, with the titanium bracelet, I would get it very quickly if I were you.

    Kind regards,

I would go for the 3227 too

Although I like a chrono, I think a counter just up to 30 minutes doesn't do it for me. Most of the times it's enough but I really like a chrono with a subdial for the hours. And the lacking date isn't helping either.

Besides, I have the steel version and I simply love it. Today, I helped for the annual school trip of my son and the Inge is the watch to go for these occasions. Rugged, simple, reliable and in my eyes a pure beauty!

    Kind regards,
