Wow! The wizards of Schaffhausen did a great job in servicing that gorgeous Inge. Lovely piece. The 666 is one of my all time favorite IWC watches. Great pictures too Anders!
Anders, what a beautiful example of a true Ingenieur, in every sense. So glad you are now the guardian of such a great piece.

Anders! What a great great Ingenieur that is! Thanks for sharing, another (restored) gem in your great collection.
Best,
Bob
Thanks for sharing these beautiful pics. The Ing is in proper condtion and with a proper owner.
That is absolutely gorgeous Anders and I love it on that blue strap. Huge congrats!
Thank You for sharing Anders. The restoration work is outstanding
it doesn’t get any better than ref 666 Ingenieur :o)
Even if I prefer to keep the vintage watch as they are, I must admit that you have well done sending the watch to the factory and that they have made an excellent work. Congratulations and wear it as much as possible.
It looks pristine, Anders...congratulations!!!!
Thx a lot Guys for your interest and comments!
And yes, normally I prefer to not make a full restoration, to keep the "history" alive. In this case it was just too worn to feel nice on the wrist. In addition to movement service and new dial, hands and crystal, I requested "moderate" polishing of the case and a new replacement bezel since the original one was having some ugly denting.
Some may say the blue croc (Mark XII ltd edition) is too much, I think it works very nice in the summer, will however most likely put it on a more conventional plain strap after summer.

A superb restoration and I think the blue strap adds something. I would keep the combination.
Looks great - definitely one of the better restorations ive seen!
Did you get to keep the original dial?
