I purchased my Ingenieur AMG with the bracelet but was wondering if I could find someone to trade the strap for the bracelet. The watch is approx 6 months old.

If I read well you've got the titanium bracelet? It's up to you of course, but I would certainly keep the bracelet (I got the same combo, I think it is great) and buy the strap as an additional possibility.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

In my opinion bracelet is much more useful to compare with strap. Another thing I heard from my collegue who owns AMG with strap, it unfortunately very quicky gets out of order. He changed it already. Just my 2 cents.

If I were you, I would just go to a dealer and order a strap as well. Personally I prefer the bracelet to the strap.

I heard the bracelet/strap of the Ingenieur is a b*tch to replace as well... you might want to take full advantage of your dealer's service.

I disagree here. The replacement procedure is not as easy as with the Aquatimers, but is the same as when you add an extra link to the bracelet, which with the tool you get is really a piece of cake.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Thank you for the advice. After doing some more research, I have found that the strap does indeed fall apart quickly. I Think I will keep my bracelet and purchase a strap to wear when I want a change.

Any advice on where I can order a strap other than an AD because I would hate to purchase a new strap, wait a few months for it and then have it fall apart on me?
